We are investing in growth: new production site in Ettlingen
Sistag GmbH has been established as a sales location in Muggensturm since 1997. In view of our continuous growth and the increasing demand in the German market, we are currently building a new production site in Ettlingen.
The new site, located just under five kilometers south of Karlsruhe and only a few minutes from the existing Muggensturm office, covers around 10,000 m2. Construction work is in full swing. The new building will go into operation at the beginning of 2025. In addition to modern office space for the growing sales team, the new building includes an assembly department and a spacious warehouse with capacity for 1,300 pallets.
The new location is a clear sign of our increased presence and proximity to our customers. "While many companies are increasingly relocating their production and storage areas abroad, we are consciously investing in Germany as a location," explains Samuel Sidler, CEO. "As a medium-sized company, proximity to our customers is extremely important to us. This is the only way we can respond flexibly to customer needs and offer the kind of service that is a matter of course for us."
The products were previously assembled at the main site in Switzerland. The new production site will significantly reduce delivery times for the German market. In the future, valves can be flexibly configured on site according to customer requirements. The investment in Ettlingen will also create new jobs in the region and thus strengthen the local economy.
The entire Sistag team is optimistic about the future and is convinced that the expansion of the site in Germany will make a decisive contribution to the company's continued success.
