History A Future with a Heritage
1908
Johann Sidler opens a mechanical workshop in Eschenbach.
1964
Hans Sidler and Hans Stalder found Sistag Maschinenfabrik Sidler Stalder AG in Eschenbach, Switzerland.
1975
Wey is registered as an international trademark.
1987
Wey Valve Inc. in Nettleton (MS), USA, is founded in response to contemporary market demands.
1992
Hans Jörg Sidler takes over management of the company.
1997
With the establishment of Sistag GmbH in Muggensturm, Germany, Sistag AG strengthens its presence on the market.
2008
The «Hall 100» building represents a milestone in the company’s history, opening up an additional 1,420 m2 of production and storage space.
2012
Sistag und Wey join forces under the name Wey.
2014
Sistag celebrates its 50th anniversary.
2016
The opening of a new 3,700 m2 production facility in the USA marks a new chapter in the history of the company, which extends back more than 50 years.
2019
Samuel Sidler takes over from Hans Jörg Sidler as CEO.
2023
Sistag Pte Ltd is established in Singapore. From this location, customers in the Asia-Pacific market will receive even better support in the future.
