Sistag has been represented in Germany by a subsidiary for nearly 30 years. What began as tentative first steps in our neighboring country has evolved over the years into a strong presence that now even includes our own production facility.
When doing business in Germany, differences and pitfalls are often underestimated. While companies typically proceed with particular caution and seek external support for activities in Far East Asia, the similarities to Germany are often taken for granted. Yet there are numerous specific considerations to keep in mind, particularly in areas such as labor law, taxes, customs, and data protection.
VSUD has been a valuable point of contact for such matters for many years and has supported us on numerous occasions with its expertise. We are therefore all the more pleased that we were able to host this year’s board meeting at our facility. In addition to an informative session, the program included a factory tour and a group lunch, which provided opportunities for personal interaction and valuable discussions.
