The trade fair for industrial pumps, valves & processes
Two eventful days at the trade fair are now behind us. As locals in Swiss valve manufacturing, we were of course on site with our team at Pumps & Valves.
Even before entering the exhibition hall, visitors were greeted by an impressive Wey knife gate valve. Weighing more than 3 tons, it is a real heavyweight and, away from its appearances at trade fairs, is mainly used in mining applications. Forward-thinking visitors were able to secure a voucher for a hearty lunch at the Sistag stand.
In Hall 4, the Sistag stand featured a real innovation alongside knife gate valves, butterfly valves, and water control gates. The new Wey pneumatic cylinder, which our engineering team has perfected over the last few months. The versatile multi-talent celebrated its premiere at Pumps & Valves and immediately caught the eye of many visitors. It will be available next year.
Another highlight was set up at lunchtime: the unique Wey Knife Cheese Valve – a knife gate valve that serves delicious raclette. Not yet in series production, but already admired, photographed and, above all, extensively tested and tasted.
We are delighted with the exciting discussions, valuable exchanges, and new impressions, and are already looking forward to the next edition in 2027.
