Equipment for heavy duty applications
Every two years, around 20,000 people visit the Tüyap Congress Centre to see the latest developments in one of the most demanding applications of all: Mining. From gigantic excavating and conveying machines to fine-tech measuring devices, a wide range of equipment is presented. Almost 700 exhibitors are represented. This year, for the first time, we will be among them with our Wey valves for mining.
The mining industry has the toughest environmental conditions and highest safety standards for shut-off valves. Viscous, solids-rich or powdery media are often transported at high pressure. In addition to heavy abrasion and the risk of scaling, the mixture often contains toxic and corrosive substances that attack the surfaces of the valve and would cause great harm to humans and the environment if they were to leak. Absolute safety and tightness is therefore a top priority.
Together with our Turkish sales partner Sunsay Muhendislik End. Malz, we were able to introduce visitors to the Wey knife gate valve series, which have been specially designed for challenging applications such as these.
